I’m Nikki, the owner of Darling Desperada, AKA that weird nostalgic b*tch you’ll see jammin to Korn or Limp Bizkit at all times. I’m in love with all things vintage, specifically clowns and religious items (irony is my bff) - that’s why you’ll notice I have my long time side hustle @darlinganddesperado set up in my studio! When I created Darling Desperada, I wanted to branch off of the vintage and bring in my creative side. My studio is kinda like a one stop shop and “desperada” means you’re in dire need of something. You goin out tonight, wanna have hot nails and need a fit? I got u. I want everything in Darling Desperada to be full of weird and wonderful, so I hope you are in that category too 😉 I went to MassArt and graduated in 2014 with a BFA in photography but adventured into the world of metals, glass, woodworking, painting & ceramics, finding ways to incorporate these mediums in or on film or photos. After school I somehow was lead to the big bad corporate world and just recently left my career behind because it literally drove me insane especially due to the lack of creativity. In that time I took two things I was obsessed with, insane nails and art, just went at it, got my license and welp.. here I am! I started my big biggest dream I never thought I could accomplish and I’m so stoked to be where I am! In my spare time I’m hangin with my mans and my 3 dogs. I love old trucks and riding motorcycles so if you’re into that kinda thing too, I’m down to clown.
